Florida Quit Claim Deed?
My fiancee and I bought and paid in full a timeshare in Florida. We separated (we never married) and agreed he was to keep the timeshare.
2 Years went by and I received a call form a collection agency for late condo fees. I filled a quit claim deed ASAP transfering all rights to the ex-fiance.
Now I'm trying to negociate payment with the collection agency and they tell me that even with the quit claim deed I'll be still responsible for all future condo and tax fees.
Is that true? And if it is what can I do?
