Baby gift ideas ... from Godmother?

Baby gift ideas ... from Godmother?
I 've just been asked by my very good friend to be godmother to their baby boy who is due in a few weeks. Very excited! I know it's early considering he isn't even born yet but they intend to have him christened quite young and want to be prepared I guess.
Ideally i'd like to buy/make a gift for baby but also for my friend and her fiance too, just to say thanks, but i'm useless with idea's at this stuff
