| BC, of course, stands for "before Christ" and "AD" for "Anno Domino" or "in the year of Our Lord". It surely cannot be long before our political masters decide that these terms are objectionable? There are alternatives of "BCE" (before common era) and "C.E." which are used in countries such as Israel, for obvious reasons. How long before we are told that we have to use them whether we like it or not? ____________________________ סקס | |
