I've been talking to an instructor in making plans for a carpet cleaning business. He says that 30% is what you should project for your bottom line profit.
Here is some figures that I am estimatin, would like any feedback, what am I missing?
100% Total Job
- 6% Cleaning Products
-15% Overhead (Insurance, maintenace, equipment payment etc)
-30% Payroll for part time help, workman's comp, taxes etc
-10% Fuel Charges (Plan on diesel PTO driven)
- 6% Advertising
=33% Bottom Line Balance
